Capture it once. Report to every standard.

We build the platforms that turn many standards, audits and buyer checklists into one plan, one record and one honest picture of where a farming business stands.

In short

Farms answer to overlapping standards, auditors and buyer checklists, and export markets want to see how produce was grown. We build the platforms that harmonise those requirements, keep every audit and corrective action on one record and score the business on what its evidence shows, with connected devices that bring field readings such as water and energy use straight in.

The problems we solve

Farms answer to more standards, auditors and buyers every season. These are the problems we build around.

  • 01

    Audit fatigue

Many standards ask the same question in different words. Harmonising them into one master set means one preparation serves every audit.

  • 02

    Capture once, report to many

A reading or a document is captured once and counts wherever it's needed: towards every standard that asks for it and towards the farm's own score.

  • 03

    Findings that don't get lost

Audit reports are recorded as they arrive, and non-conforming points open as corrective actions with an owner, a due date and the evidence that will close them.

  • 04

    Traceability buyers can see

Export markets and buyers want to see how produce was grown. Evidence sits behind every answer, shared with retailers, funders and certifiers only when the farm chooses.

  • 05

    Performance, not just pass marks

Indicators tracked over seasons and sites, with the trend behind every figure, so the business sees progress rather than a yearly snapshot.

  • 06

    Sensor data into the record

We build the connected devices and cloud that can capture readings such as water and energy use in the field, so fewer figures are typed in by hand.

How it flows

The Handee Method on a sustainability platform

  1. 01

    Discover

We map the standards you answer to, who captures what on the farm, what auditors and buyers ask for, and where the evidence lives today.

  2. 02

    Prototype

In days, a live slice: the data model, a first set of harmonised requirements and a working view you can test with your own data. Where sensors are involved, readings arrive from real hardware.

  3. 03

    Build

The full platform, built in short reviewed loops, tested and documented as we go, with an audit trail behind every change.

  4. 04

    Run

After launch we keep watching the platform and ship updates, so it keeps pace as standards, seasons and business units change.

Do the sustainability work once

Do the sustainability work once

Tell us which standards you answer to, who does the capturing and what your buyers ask for. A few lines is enough to start.

  • 01Your standards mapped against each other in discovery
  • 02One team for the platform, the apps and any sensors in the field
  • 03A working prototype on your own data before the full build

What happens next

  1. 01We read your briefWe come back to you, usually with a few questions about your standards and your farms.
  2. 02A first callWe talk through the standards, the audits, the people capturing data and what you want to see.
  3. 03A clear proposalScope, timeline and cost for a first phase, so you know exactly what you're committing to.

Questions

Agriculture questions, answered

What farming businesses and sustainability teams usually ask us first.

  • 01Can one system really cover several standards?

Yes, if it's designed that way from the start. Each requirement is linked to every standard it satisfies, so one preparation counts for each of them. That's how Sherpa works for Blue North Sustainability, and for a new platform we start by mapping your standards against each other in discovery.

  • 02Who owns the data?

We design around the principle that the evidence belongs to the farm, shared with retailers, funders and certifiers only when the farm chooses. Where the data is hosted and who can see it are agreed with you at the start.

  • 03Can auditors work in the system?

They can. A platform can let a farm share its preparation with the audit body, and record each audit report, its findings and the corrective actions that follow. How auditors take part is something we design with you and with them.

  • 04Can sensor data feed in?

Yes, that's where our IoT work comes in. We build firmware, connected devices and the cloud they report into, so readings such as water or energy use can arrive as performance indicators instead of being typed in. We'd scope which readings are worth automating first.

  • 05We have several farms and a packhouse. Can one system handle that?

Yes. We model your structure as business units in one organisation, so each farm or packhouse sees its own work and head office sees the whole.
